Why is my Outlook "sending" messages in the status line when there aren't any messages in my outbox? A virus?

In the bottom right hand corner, where it shows the status of receiving and sending messages (3 of 10) or (1 of 4) or whatever, it shows "Sending Message 1 of 3" (sometimes the numbers are different) even though I haven't sent any messages and there are no messages in my outbox.|||Download, install and run CCleaner to clean up old temp files.
