Is there any way to configure Outlook 2003 to hold emails in the Outbox longer?

My boss' Outlook account used to keep each email in the Outbox for a few minutes before it was moved to Sent Items. We upgraded, and now the emails are sent immediately, and only stay in the Outbox for a second. She preferred the previous way because she could edit her emails afterwards without having to save a draft. Is there any way to configure Outlook to hold messages in the Outbox for a while before they send?

Thanks!|||1) Go to Options for Mail Setup

2) Under Send/Receive uncheck the box for "Send Immediately when connected"

3) In the Send/Receive options change the value for "Schedule an automatic send/receive every X minutes" to however long you want|||The outbox is just messages in transit.
