On facebook, does deleting a message from you outbox delete the message from the recipient's inbox?

I'm trying to delete a message that I sent to another person before they get the chance to read it. When sending messages via facebook, is there a way to recall a message?|||No. Once that message is sent and they've received it. There is no way you can delete that message remotely.|||nope there is no way after u sent it there is no going back|||No, unless you know their password. There are very few programs that let you do that, like you can cancel a friend request on facebook or xbox live, and the person will have no idea it was ever there, but messages, stay there.|||No once u send the message its there on the recipients inbox and its no way u could delete it unless u kno their password info and log in there's no way...hope wat u sent wasn't 2 bad of a message...well good luck on that
