How can i recover my emails both inbox and outbox after three years of not using my email account?

i forgot my pass word for a period of three years and i got it but couldnt find my emails in my inbox and outbox so how can i recover them i badly need them i have been stuck without any job since then because all my contacts were lost just help me|||Sorry but after all that time they are long gone and cannot be recovered.
