Cover up, use head movement to avoid the punches. Work your footwork. Punish the body. If you can angle them into a corner, you can move in and punish them. Stay active and crowd them. This will take a fair bit of gas.|||Use your feet they are longer then someones arms, but stay in close enough where you could reach him with your kick, but he is to far to punch, and to close to kick. I have always liked to get in close to a tall or opponent with a long reach. I find most of the time they are used to taking advantage of their size and their in close fight is not that great. I have on occasion found this to be a mistake when the opponent has a good in close game.
