Why is my MS Outlook keep sending message when the outbox is empty?

My MS Outlook keep sending message when the outbox is Empty. Each time i compose a new message and hit send, the number of outbox message count increases by 2. So, at the bottom right, i can see " sending message 1/10" when there is only 1 message to be sent. And this i jamming up the whole outlook!!! HELP!! What is wrong??|||I would perform a really good virus scan and even a rootkit scan. Your system may just be infected.

A good online virus detection tool can be found at www.bitdefender.com

I use Sophos Rootkit found at http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tool鈥?/a>

E-mail me for a more in-depth answer if you need one.
