I have a blackberry pearl 8130 series and i dont know what the D next to the checkmark in outbox means?

So after i send a messege to this one person (it sends) and then 5 mintues later it shows a little black d next to the check that shows that it sent....what does that mean?? the person has the same carrier as me so does it mean that he opend it?? i really need to figure this out...please help!|||the D means that the message was delivered|||d for delivered successfully!

How can I delete items that are in my "OUTBOX" of microsoft outlook?

I have attempted to send emails with large attachments and for the past 4 days these emails are sitting in my MICROSOFT OUTLOOK "OUTBOX"


I have tried to delete them but nothing happens. When I click on the email I get a pop-up that says "can't open item. outlook has already begun transmitting the message"





I tried to right click on the email and then left click delete, but it doesn't actually delete it.





Any thoughts?|||With large attachments it may take a few minutes to delete them. Try it again but be patient and see if they delete.





Also you can go to your email servers website and access the outbox there to see if will delete (if you are using embarq mail then use their website, if you are using xyz mail then go to xyz website).

I have three emails in my outbox that won't send when hit send. How do I delete them?

If you have an "outbox" then you're probably using Outlook Ex. or Outlook.





OE "usually" won't send anything with a possible virus or a bad link. It remains in your outbox and won't send. Any emails sent AFTER that one will stack up behind the bad one and won't send till the bad one is gone.





In OE----you would delete them the same way you would if they were only in the inbox.


Select them and hit the "delete" tab.

I just got the new Samsung Rant phone %26amp; I know this sounds stupid but I can't find the outbox for text messages. When you go to the messaging folder from the one touch, click on text messages and then a list of names of whom you have messaged comes up. When you click on a name to open it up it shows your whole convo with that person. Its kind of like an IM setup in a way. |||the outbox is just like the inbox, its different than normal. but its like an Instant Message conversation. it says if its been sent. or if its pending on the contacts conversation. but there is no button to see all outgoing messages. drafts are saved in the same place as well.

|||Sorry Alex E. that answer is not correct. According to Sprint the only time a message is saved under the Text Messaging tab is when there is a pending draft. The outbox that the phone refers to is located in the server que in the phone itself. There is no way to access it. I have the phone too.

Then run anti Virus and Anti Spyware. Should be fine then.|||This happened to me recently. They are using a security hole in the client side of the browser which allows a hacker to rewrite a cookie accessing your email contacts via PHP embedded in the email and is currently undetectable by Yahoo Mail. The IP address from the originating email for my case came from this IP address 183.89.26.154 (this can be found in the full email header) which I tracked it down to Thailand. The link sent out to all my contacts accesses a website in Poland (a fake Canadian Pharmacy page) which will grab more emails based on the PHP Script similar to that below.





I have currently deleted all my cookies and cleared all my saved passwords in Firefox and have also installed Spybot Search and Destroy since my virus scanner (Eset Smart Security) and MS Malicious Software Removal Tool didn't find anything. After you do all the above, change your password and clear your cookies out frequently. Update: Also, DO NOT USE "KEEP ME SIGNED IN" check box by Yahoo when signing in, I believe this is "THE" problem based on the article I found below. Use Firefox browser's way to store the passwords since they are not cookie based. Here is a copy and paste of what I found.

My yahoo Id was recently accessed by an unknown person which used it to send promotional emails to my list of friends who, of course, accessed them leaving the hacker another open door, and another and so on, the chain never ends. Hopefully yahoo wakes up. I did a search on this new thing that they use, it had to be something on the "client side", a bug that could be sent inside an email, a new thing, undetected by yahoo, yet - it's easyer to attack than to deffend they say. It didn't take me too much to find this code which writes the recipient's cookie (stored in C:/ under the Cookies folder) inside a .log file that is copy-pasted by the hacker overwriting his own cookie that yahoo stored inside his computer and than easilly accessing the victim's yahoo email. How to protect yourself? My advice: DON'T EVER OPEN EMAILS FROM AN UNKNOWN SENDER.|||this same thing happened to me. What I was told to do was change my password. I do not know what that has to do with it, but the emails did stop for me.|||The emails would be in the sent box if you're curious, but the previous poster is right, change your password (make it difficult) and you should be sorted.|||It seems that you've got virus on your computer, so buy an anti-virus or download one for free (there are lots of options avg free, avast, etc). Scan your computer and you'll be saved.

What is the yahoo mail 'outbox' ?

I wrote an email and then couldn't. Find it in ' sent' mail. Instead there appeared an 'outbox' with the email in there but no way to 'send'it. I never saw this 'outbox' before.|||An outbox contains mail that you have sent but the email server has not picked up yet. It is extremely rare online. It can occur with a standalone email program if you have it set to only send when you close the program.



It is possible there was some type of server problem. See if it disappears later and appears in the sent folder.

How to use outbox in outlook?

So I've been using outlook for quite some time but still I haven't figured out one thing.


Is there any option for outlook to not only download messages from the inbox on the server, but from the outbox as well?





It's kind of annoying that if I use the web interface of a mail server to send something I don't see it in outlook.|||I don't know why they added it.You click send and it goes to the out box and it gets sent from there. nothing for you to do.|||A MAPI account should sync the outbox on the server and the outbox on OUTLOOK, but an SMTP account can't show outlook what wasn't sent through Outlook.

I can't get the emails to send.|||Probably, your outgoing(SMTP) not work very well, try to go to Account Settings and do test to the account and see if the ports are working fine. Sent messages are not saved in your outbox. They are saved in the sent message folder. If you do not want them saved. Then open the sent message folder and look for options. One of the options will give you the choice of saving all your sent messages in the aforementioned folder or not saving the messages. If you click the do not save option, you may still have to delete the messages that are currently in that folder but no new ones will be saved.

i don't really send a lot of texts but i get a lot|||Verizon only allows you the same number of outbox and inbox so i would recommend you get unlimited txtn because in the end you will save a lot of money. In Microsoft Outlook question. I have too big of an outgoing messege. How do I remove it from the outbox?

It's not letting me send or receive anything. I can't delete it when I go to the Outbox.|||You may need to take Outlook "Offline" to remove an item from your Outbox. Go to Tools and choose "Work Offline". Remove the item then uncheck this option to get back online. Outlook will make it very hard for you to delete an email when it's still trying to send it.

Is there any way to configure Outlook 2003 to hold emails in the Outbox longer?

My boss' Outlook account used to keep each email in the Outbox for a few minutes before it was moved to Sent Items. We upgraded, and now the emails are sent immediately, and only stay in the Outbox for a second. She preferred the previous way because she could edit her emails afterwards without having to save a draft. Is there any way to configure Outlook to hold messages in the Outbox for a while before they send?

I have tried to delete the message, even open the message and it doesn't go away or open. When I try to open it I get an error message stating something about spooling. I can send other emails fine, but this one won't go away. Help!|||This is complicated,,, in a nutshell I'm suggesting you temporarily create a new email storage file, setting it as Outlook's inbox store, thus taking your working store offline so it can be repaired, and finally put back in service. These instructions assume Outlook 2003 -- the same procedure would apply to Outlook 2000, but the UI steps would vary somewhat.





From Outlook's help:





Specify where new messages are delivered


1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.


2. Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.


3. In the Deliver new e-mail to the following location list, select where you want to the new messages delivered. (Click the New Outlook data file button to create a new one. Note the name and location of the existing file here.)


4. Click Finish.


5. Quit and restart Microsoft Outlook.





At this point every folder in Outlook should be empty like brand new. (I think Outlook puts a welcome message in the inbox, that doesn't count.) :-)





Now we'll want to run a tool to examine/repair your old file, called SCANPST.EXE. On my system it in the path shown below (It's all one path, I split it at each directory to keep y!a from [...] shortening it .) You may need to search your drive to find it, if it isn't there:

This tool will scan for and fix any consistency problems that may be affecting your Outlook email store. You'll need to provide SCANPST.EXE with the name of that file (that you noted in step 3 above.)

Then designate it to be the inbox store, and close the temporary store file. (All of this can be done using the dialog we used in the first few steps.)

I dont understand the difference...help!|||When you click the send button the message go to the outbox while the server upload the message then it disappear from the outbox to the receiver.





Sent items folder is for automatically save your message when you decided if you want to do more work on the message for editing or the message doesn't get lost on the server.

Is there a way i can delete all my texts inbox and outbox on cricket wireless internet?

okay i have Cricket Wireless Internet and you can like txt on it because it has its own number but i have alot of txts on there and i dont know how to delete them without having to go through each and everyone and delete it. Is there a way you can select them all or something and deletee themm ?? PLEASE HELP!!|||Unfortunately there does not appear to be a way to delete these texts in bulk. Both fighers are very fast so speed is a wash. Floyd is going to be bigger and stronger. He has the reach advantage and skill advantage. His defesne is superior to any fighter in boxing. Manny has never faced a defense this good. What Manny has faced and had trouble with is a great counterpuncher (Juan Manuel Marquez), Floyd is a great counterpuncher...but better than Marquez. Hatton and Cotto both are straight forward guys who have no head movement and no thought for defense. I see Manny pressing forward to try to make Floyd fight and rattle his calm.I see Floyd counter punching inside of Manny's wide, wild shots and making him pay when he gets close. He will jab and keep Manny at a distance a lot. Manny will have a hard time hitting him and will be very frustrated by how he cant find Floyd during the first 5 rounds...after round 6 Manny will start to show fatigue from chasing Floyd and Floyd will start fighting in the center of the ring and sitting down on his punches. He will totally take over here. It will end in a 10th round Ko or unanimous decison 117-110.


Mayweather has never lost. He has never been Ko'd. He has never been truly knocked down and Manny with a reach disadvantage is going to knock him out?

8. keep the pressure simple early and study your opponent. learn to be a counterpuncher instead of chasing your opponent around the ring.





9. as the rounds progress, increase your pressure and concentrate your power punches to the lower half of the body in the early rounds, go for the head when your opponent is tired or makes a mistake.





10. come into the fight in better physical condition, have alot more stamina and strength, come in confident and pick your opponent apart.|||You cannot, given equal skill.





Therefore, you must adopt another style, such as slugging or swarming, rather than pure boxing. This is mainly related to range; the short armed fighter must keep very close, crowding the longer armed opponent: this will negate his reach advantage.





There is one exception to this rule....


A short-armed fighter with an excellent lunging jab can box from outside, and then spring forward to attack inside. This was Tyson's attack plan in his prime. If you watch his early fights, he has an excellent jab; he forgot this later, and it cost him.





One final point: a short armed boxer must be able to hit very hard and take a punch. He will get hit more, and he must be able to out-muscle the pure boxer, or else the boxer will simply use footwork or counter-punching to equalize the crowding attack. A swarmer or fighter without a hard punch is fodder to a good boxer. The swarmer needs powerful hooks to wear down the body, a quick short jab to set up the right cross, and a lethal uppercut is useful too. Think Fraser.





Now, if the longer armed opponent is a young George Foreman, instead, think taser.|||footwork will be the key. Don't let the other guy establish his jab because that's how he's gonna be able to take advantage of his reach.

offensively you need to go in and out. go in, hit him with a quick combination, then move out. footwork and speed is the key for this one.





You need stamina because you're gonna spend a lot of energy doing it in a consistent basis for 12 rounds.|||Fight like Joe Frazier. Crouch low, then bob and weave going in. You'll get hit for sure coming in, but that's the only way you can hit your opponent back. Once you get in, bury hooks to his body then come up with an uppercut. A double-left hook would be very effective too. Mike Tyson, who's a short heavyweight like Frazier, did that a lot, and he knocked out a lot of big heavies.|||You need good footwork as well as excellent upper body movement. You need to be able to get inside, throw a few hooks and uppercuts to the body and head, and then get out of range with your guard up.

if you're sure your settings are correct and it still will not go I would delete the account and then recreate it windows will put in the default values for you

It should automatically send the next time you run Outlook. If it doesn't, then go to your Sent Items folder, select the e-mail, and hit Send/Recieve (F9).





If your e-mail is attached to a Yahoo POP account, then all Outlook mail will go through that Yahooo account.

Why is my mobile phone storing every text message I send in the outbox folder?

Basically, whenever I attempt to send a text message I get a message along the lines of 'message send failed, stored in outbox folder'. When I go to check the outbox folder the message is not there. A draft form is saved, but no matter how many times I attempt to send the message it always fails. Does anybody know why this might be or how to solve the problem? I'd really appreciate it!|||Another problem could be that you don't have a mail center number stored in your phone. Try ringing your service provider and they should be able to send you a text which will sort out the problem. Hope this helps ;o)|||It can simply be because you do not have the permission on your phone plan to send text messages. Or, you are sending it to a wrong number, or to a number that cannot receive text messages.





Remember to add the area code of the number you are trying to send to.|||Your plan from your service provid - Singtel or Starhub might have expired or is not working.





Could you have gotten the number wrong? Could you have enabled the "Saved message is sent folder" settings?





Perhaps you could state a few details on what the error actually is.|||check your message centre number with your service provider

How to delete a message which is stuck in my outbox?

I have been using microsft outlook to send emails but they dont send - they stay in outbox.

Either way, it could be that your SMTP server requires authentication in which case, you need to open Outlook Express, go to Tools=%26gt; Accounts, select the account you're using, click the properties button, click the servers tab in the dialogue box, then make sure the checkbox for "My server requires authentication" is checked.





When you send, what's the error message and number (e.g. 550)|||funnily enough that happened to me today. I completely closed it down and then reopened and pressed send/recieve again, it worked.|||That means that contact or authentication has failed for the smtp or exchange server it is using for outbound mail.|||when my mom first got microsoft outlook it did that but the next day it worked.

This is a tough one! You will need to kill your email account and then re-import your mail to purge this. I am assuming this a home PC and you have a POP account that you are using.


1) Unplug your PC from the Internet.


2) Open the control Panel, and select the MAIL icon.


3) Select your Profile, view existing accounts. Note the settings for your account, servers, user-name etc.


4) Delete your account.


5) Create a new profile and then recreate your account.


6) Open Outlook, and go to file%26gt; export and Export


7) Import your old email store, making sure that you don't import the OUTBOX.

Is it possible to automatically mark the e-mails I have sent once they get open by their addressees, in ordre to know whether they have been opened or not. Double click on it in the Outbox to open the message. Goto "Actions" in the menu and select "Recall this message"

How to delete text message inbox/outbox on Env2?

Ok I need to delete the inbox/outbox on my Env2... One problem, my inside screen is smashed. I know how to get to messages (top left button) but anything from there idk what to click. I am sending/receiving from my front screen but cant delete.





Does anyone know the sequence once you are on the message menu? (for example, it would be something like down twice, select, down once select)

those messages which r sent will be shown in 'sent items' folder only if save sent messages settings is turned on|||if you check your sent messages box and if it is there then it was sent if it is not there then you probably never wrote it or sent it and it might be in drafts if it couldn't send the message and might be a pending message

How can i delete an email in my outbox?

HI, I tried sending an email with a large attachment, 47 MB, (big mistake) and now it's stuck in my outbox. Outlook 2007 is my mail client, this email is now preventing other emails from going through, it blocks the way, and I don't know how to get it out of the way, either by deleting it or disengaging Outlook from performing the Send command for it. If delete, after restart of Outlook, will automatically regenerate.|||You can highlight and delete them one by one....but only if it is not in process of sending. I have done it. There were several messages I sent to one person in October. I checked my outbox to read them and the first three were there but the remaining three were not. Any ideas why?|||On some sites it automatically deletes your trash and outbox after a certain amount of time. Also, it could be that if you were talking in a chain message (Like most facebook messages look) and you hit delete it could delete the send and received. You also could of deleted it by accident. :)

How many text messages can a sony ericsson z750a hold in the inbox/outbox?

I'm trying to find a new phone to buy. But I want it to hold a good number of text messages cuz i like to keep them. 500 is what I find good. Please help me with this phone only.|||I have had this phone since May 2008, and I have all my texts from then. It does not say how many texts are in the inbox/outbox you have to count for yourself, so I really don't know the maximum. Also, let me tell you about this phone; I am getting rid of this phone, I thought it was cool at first it has the cool metallic, mirror like front, and the time is displayed on the front but the phone is horrible -__- I am so unhappy with this phone. The camera quality is horrible and you can't see anything in night vision. Its extremely hard to text because its very slow. Sometimes this phone randomly shuts off and dies on a full battery. Getting the back cover off is very hard and the phone scratches on the sides easily, and its an ugly brown color from the mirror paint wearing off. Please try to look at other phones, this phone is very bad and I cannot live with it anymore.

It can contain drafts, or if there is a glitch and it has to wait to be sent.

Via Twitter, Yahoo announced the blockage was now fixed, but "there may be residual delays." There will certainly be some residual questions. But remember, censorship requires a government entity squelching speech, not an email provider."





This appears to be the heart of the "suspicious activity" problem, which is apparently fixed with some residual delays.

How many inbox and outbox messages can the lg chocolate touch hold?

I know the old chocolates could only hold like 50 regular text in both and i have a hard time tolerating having to delete my texts all the time. So if the lg chocolate touch has a larger inbox i would definitely get this phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.|||i have the habit of deleting my messages after a conversation is does.. so i cant really answer this question but i know i have gotten over 50 at one point, and thats including some Pic text. But you know you can choose an auto delete option where your oldest nonlocked text get deleted.

How to force Outlook to empty the outbox?

My father-in-law uses Outlook on a dialup connection. If he writes a new messages while being offline, Outlook places the message in the outbox. When he goes online he has to empty the outbox manually (right-clicking on each mail and choosing send).


Is it not possible to configure Outlook so that it automatically sends all mails in the outbox when the computer goes online?|||OPEN OUTLOOK EXPRESS,TOOLS,OPTIONS,

THIS IS SAME FOR MS OUTLOOK ALSO.|||Outlook simply requires you to press the "Send %26amp; Receive" button on the toolbar onc you're connected, and all emails should go.





If you can't find that button then you need to ensure you have the right toolbars enabled by right clicking a toolbar and choosing "Standard". If it's still not there then click "Customise" and put it back on!

How does my outbox work?

I have a nokia 2630 and I want to know about my outbox. How many times does it retry sending before showing the "sending failure"? How long does it take between two retrials and can I configure that or not?|||On my phone the Nokia 5310 it makes 3 attempts before showing the faliar aleart and time gap is approx 15 minutes....you wont be able to configur it but you can manuall re-attempt the sending by going into options and thn choose the "Send" option!!

Trying to send email. Box comes up telling I have to be checked as real person go to outbox?

Box pops up telling me that an email was not sent. A check is necessary to determine if I'm a real person. Told to go to outbox and retry, given security word to type but doesn't allow copied code to be entered. Then whole process has to be repeated. What's this all about? I have the Alias verizon phone, and i have an extra memory card but for some reason my phone will only save 30 outbox texts but up to 50 inbox texts. other verizon phones can save 50 of each|||I think that's just how it is, you can't save more then 30 msgs in the Outbox OR maybe that's becaus you have to many MMS messegs there and your phone can only save 50 SMS messegs, Contact Verizon for more info on this.

What would cause calendar entries to get stuck in my outbox in Outlook 2003?

We use Outlook 2003 to handle our emails at the office as well as calendaring and task lists. On one of our computers, calendar entries and invites to others will get stuck in the outbox from time to time. Doing a manual send/receive does nothing to clear up the problem. Regular emails will get clogged up and stuck behind the calendar entries. If we clear out the calendar entries, regular email operation resumes.





We are using POP3 services, not an exchange server. Our antivirus software is fully updated and we regularly run spyware scans.|||On the affected computer, in Outlook, go to 'Tools, Email Accounts.' The radio button should already be on 'view or change existing e-mail accounts, if not, choose this option and click 'Next.'





This will give the list of processes for email. Normally, you will have internet email, it may be listed by the mail server name or just be called 'internet mail.' I suspect that the problem is that you have an additional entry there, possibly something like a fax service. Compare what is listed here with another computer that does not have the problem and make any changes necessary.





Before you remove an item from this list, make notes about the configuration, in case the entry is one that later determined to be not causing the problem.

Where is the outbox for the samsung exclaim for sprint?

Occasionally I sent a text message and it says that it was saved in the outbox, but the don't know where it is. I looked for "outbox" but I can't find it. Anyone know where it is? By the way I don't have a lot of reception at my house. Thanks.|||hmm...just go to the messaging menu. if its not there, then the phone must have threaded text messaging. just go to messaging menu and look for the person's name to whom which you sent the text to.

Are you on tmobile or other company? If on tmobile the centre number should be this +2063130004. Make sure you have full signal and most important, a message plan.


I've only had this problem once, and it was because the centre number was blank for whatever reason. Doing a hard reset and then updating the phone might work better than just updating the phone. hard reset is *#7370# i believe. It will delete all your data so back up your phone if you want to save your stuff.

How can i keep my messages from staying in my outbox and not sending?

Outlook Express is sending multiple emails from my outbox folder. And suggestions?

If not that, then check whether your message once sent is automatically removed from your outbox, because it should be.


If it's not delete it manually and replace "Outlook Express" with

Okay, Well I sent a message or tried to send a message and I could've sworn I sent it but then it was in my outbox. What does this mean exactly. It stays there until you want to send it.
