How does my outbox work?

I have a nokia 2630 and I want to know about my outbox. How many times does it retry sending before showing the "sending failure"? How long does it take between two retrials and can I configure that or not?|||On my phone the Nokia 5310 it makes 3 attempts before showing the faliar aleart and time gap is approx 15 minutes....you wont be able to configur it but you can manuall re-attempt the sending by going into options and thn choose the "Send" option!!
